Group Events
BuddyBoss: Group Events
- The hook provides multiple event scenarios associated with the BuddyBoss Profiles.
- The events that can be set to Award points include, Change Profile Avatar, Change Cover Image, Profile Update, Minimum Percent Profile, User Account activation, User Assigned Specific Profile type.
- Click on the hook to open its configuration.
- Admin can set the Points which will be awarded whenever the events are triggered.
- Once done, click on the Save button.
Front-End Impact
a. Group Creation
- Go to the group page and click on the Create Group section.
- Fill in the required fields.
- Once the group has been created, the user who created the group will be awarded points.
b. Joining Groups
- Go to the group page and click on the Create Group section.
- Click on the Join Group button.
- The user will be awarded points for joining the group.
c. Leaving Groups
- The user will go to the group which he has joined.
- Click on the You’re a Member button.
- When you’ll click on the You’re a Member button, it will change to Leave Group.
- Click on the Leave Group button.
- Once done, the user will get points for leaving the group.
d. Accepted on a Private Group
- Go to the group page and click on the All Groups section.
- To join a private group, click on the Request Access button.
- Once done, the label of that button will change to Request Sent.
- The organizer of the group will accept receive the request of the user.
- Once the request is accepted, the user will get points for joining a private group.
e. Groups Invitations
- The organizer of the group will send the invites to the other users.
- The user will receive the request in the Invitation tab of the Group section.
- The user who sent the invitation would be awarded points when the request is accepted.
f. Publish Group Activity Stream Message
- The user will open any group.
- Go to the Feed section.
- Share something on the group and click on the Post Update button.
- Once done, the user will receive points for publishing group activity steam message.
g. Remove Group Activity Stream Message
- The user will open any group.
- Go to the Feed section.
- The user will delete the feed which he posted on the group.
- The user will click on the Delete button on any post which he posted.
- Once done, the user will receive points for deleting the group activity steam message.
h. Group Promotions
- The Organizer of the group will go to the Manage section.
- Then he’ll go to the Members tab.
- The Organizer can promote any member of the group.
- Once done, the user which is promoted will receive points
