myCred has built-in support for Event Espresso 4.5 and earlier. Version 4.6 or higher however are supported via a free custom plugin. Both plugins work the same.
Pay using Points
Once the gateway add-on is enabled, myCred will add in a new custom payment gateway in your Event Espresso settings. Just like other payment gateways, users can use this option if they have enough points.
No matter if you use the built-in gateway or the external plugin, both plugins have the exact same settings.
Setup guide:
- Activate the Gateway Add-on on the myCred Add-ons page.
- Visit the “Payment Settings” page in the “Event Espresso” menu. You will find the “myCred Gateway Settings” box on the bottom of the page.
- Adjust the Gateway settings to your liking and “Update Settings” when you are done.
- Done! Your users can now pay for their tickets using points.
