Payment Gateway & SSL
- Now, select the payment gateway under the Choose a Gateway tab.
- Select myCred from the Payment Gateway dropdown.
- Now, under the myCred settings enter the following :
- Title: Set the label for payment title
- Custom Message: Set the Custom Message for payment.
- Log Template: Set the log entry message which will appear on the log page of the respective point type.
- Point Type: Select the pre-defined point type against which the user will be buying the membership.
- Exchange Rate: Set the rate which will define each point against the currency.
i.e. $1 = 1 Points.
- Show Total: Select Do not show or Show on Membership Checkout to hide or show the membership checkout on the frontend.
- Exchange Label and Balance Label: Set the title for both to show the labels on the frontend.
- Click on the Save Settings button to apply your settings.
Front-End Impact
- User Login with valid credentials on the website.
- After that, the user visits the membership page by clicking on the Membership Account Tab.
- Now you are on the Membership Account page, click the view all Membership Options or choose a membership level to view all the memberships.
- Once the user clicks on the Choose a membership level, a list of levels will appear on a Membership Levels page.
- To buy a membership user must select the membership level by clicking the Select button.
Note : The price against the membership level is determined by the admin’s exchange rate and will be charged in myCred points.
- Once the user selects the Membership level, the system will redirect the user to the Membership Checkout page.
- On a similar page, the user will enter personal information beneath the Billing Address label.
- After inserting the billing details, the user can view the payment details under the Payment Information label.
- The user submits the payment by clicking on the Submit and Check Out button.
- Once the user successfully submits the payment, it will be deducted from the myCred points of the user’s account.
- A notification will popup on the user’s front end and the logs will be created.
Logs
- Navigate to the WordPress Admin Dashboard → Points → Logs.
- Now you’re on the Logs page.
