Usage Examples

Here is a small sample of examples of how myCred can be used on a WordPress-powered website, along with what each example requires. How you end up using myCred is entirely up to you. Have fun!

Just Points

Just by enabling myCred and creating your first point type, you instantly give all your users their unique point balance. As an administrator, you can edit each user’s balance at any time via the Users page in your wp-admin area, with or without a log entry.

You also gain access to a large set of shortcodes to help you show your users their balanceshistory, etc.

User Engagement

Got a lot of comments and content on your website? Reward your users with points for joiningleaving commentspublishing contentlogging in, or just visiting your website once a day. Use these points to reward your users with a Rank or badges or create competition by presenting a leaderboard.

Loyalty Programs

If you have an online store, myCred can help you create a store loyalty program. Reward your customers with points for each product that they buy, and allow them to use these points as payment for future orders.

All you need to do is the Gateway add-on if you are using the store plugins myCred support out of the box.

Premium Content

For premium content providers, myCred can help you monetize your content by letting your users buy points for real money and use these points on your website to pay for content or tip your content authors.
